Your mission:

You work on interesting use cases and features regarding our whole ordering process.

You will be responsible for the development of the backend services operated on our cloud environment (some people call these things micro services - but that's just a name).

Our main business processes are dealing with orders, payments, food data as well as the management as of the monitoring of our Robotic Units.

You understand that developing business software is not always about using the fanciest stack available but reliable components for ground solid software development.

Your coding buddies will be the backend engineers which whom you design the API of our system.

Our technology decisions are driven by discussion but also guided by our Techradar: we aim for a stable and consistent stack that standardises our whole development process.

You will work in the core IT development team in Hamburg.

Location: Hamburg.

We are a still a small team searching for the right people to join us.

Your profile:

You are a experienced backend-engineer or are new to the field and are eager to learn - we are searching all levels.

Java is one of your main languages. You understand the need for a well designed software architecture, good software design as well as readable code.

You are interested in scalable and distributed web applications.

You bring experience with messaging technologies and relational databases.

A list of technologies you should (at least) have heard of, you already use or deeply understand: Spring Boot, Spring Data, OpenAPI/swagger, SQL, AWS SQS, git.

You have a hands-on character and good communication skills through all levels.

You want to work in a high pace environment and be fully responsible to build and optimize technical systems and processes.
